However, we understand that circumstances may arise when a customer needs to cancel or reschedule a booked service. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding service cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds to ensure transparency and fairness for both our users and service providers.
Customers may cancel a service booking free of charge if the cancellation is made before a technician has been assigned to the job. You can cancel directly from your Biddutbid app or website under your "My Bookings" section.
If you cancel a booking after a technician has been assigned but before their arrival, a nominal cancellation fee may apply. This fee compensates for the technician's time, transportation, and opportunity cost. The cancellation fee will be clearly shown in the app before you confirm your cancellation.
If a technician arrives at your location and the customer decides to cancel the service, a visit charge or partial service fee will apply. This is to cover the cost of the technician's time, travel, and initial inspection.
You may reschedule your service free of charge if it’s done at least 2 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 2 hours of the appointment may incur a minor rescheduling fee, depending on the circumstances and technician availability.
If the customer is not present or reachable at the service location at the scheduled time, the technician will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. After that, the visit will be considered a no-show, and a service charge may apply. In such cases, the booking will be automatically canceled and marked as “Customer Unavailable.”
In rare cases, a technician or service provider may need to cancel due to emergencies, unavailability, or technical issues. If this happens:
You will be notified immediately via SMS and/or app notification.
We will offer a free reschedule or assign a new technician as soon as possible.
No cancellation fee will apply in this case.
If a prepaid booking is canceled and you're eligible for a refund:
Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days.
Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method (bKash, card, Nagad, etc.).
If any cancellation fee applies, it will be deducted from the total refund amount.
We understand emergencies happen. If you believe your cancellation was caused by an unavoidable situation, please contact our customer support at support@biddutbid.com or call our hotline. We’ll evaluate on a case-by-case basis and may waive fees under genuine conditions.
Biddutbid reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and communicated via email or app notification when necessary.
