Cancellation Policy

At Biddutbid, we aim to provide reliable, fast, and professional electrical services to our valued customers. However, we understand that circumstances may arise when a customer needs to cancel or reschedule a booked service. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding service cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds to ensure transparency and fairness for both our users and service providers.

1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

a. Before Technician is Assigned

Customers may cancel a service booking free of charge if the cancellation is made before a technician has been assigned to the job. You can cancel directly from your Biddutbid app or website under your "My Bookings" section.

b. After Technician is Assigned but Before Arrival

If you cancel a booking after a technician has been assigned but before their arrival, a nominal cancellation fee may apply. This fee compensates for the technician's time, transportation, and opportunity cost. The cancellation fee will be clearly shown in the app before you confirm your cancellation.

c. After Technician Has Arrived

If a technician arrives at your location and the customer decides to cancel the service, a visit charge or partial service fee will apply. This is to cover the cost of the technician's time, travel, and initial inspection.

 

2. Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule your service free of charge if it’s done at least 2 hours before the scheduled time. Rescheduling within 2 hours of the appointment may incur a minor rescheduling fee, depending on the circumstances and technician availability.

 

3. No-Show or Unavailability

If the customer is not present or reachable at the service location at the scheduled time, the technician will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. After that, the visit will be considered a no-show, and a service charge may apply. In such cases, the booking will be automatically canceled and marked as “Customer Unavailable.”

 

4. Service Provider-Initiated Cancellations

In rare cases, a technician or service provider may need to cancel due to emergencies, unavailability, or technical issues. If this happens:
